Individual therapy services are tailored based on your unique needs. While many of my clients work with me navigating challenges associated with trauma, anxiety, and grief & loss; I believe that therapy should not be a one size fits all approach. I take time to truly get to know you in order to formulate a treatment plan that works best. My approach to treatment is eclectic and draws from many different theoretical approaches and treatment modalities, nevertheless I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment that empowers you along your wellness journey.
I am a licensed creative arts therapist in the state of New York. Throughout the years, I have discovered that using the healing power of art therapy has led many of my clients to their most profound insights- in overcoming barriers surrounding their healing. Art therapy is a therapeutic approach facilitated by a licensed art therapist that utilizes the transformative power of art to assist clients in achieving their personal treatment goals. While my background as a trained and licensed art therapist greatly influences my practice, I am also trained within various treatment modalities. The other treatment modalities that I often utilize with individuals, couples, and families include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT).

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
particularly sensitive to the unique problems of youth with post-traumatic stress and mood disorders resulting from sexual abuse, as well as from physical abuse, violence, or grief.
Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
This method involves moving your eyes a specific way while you process traumatic memories.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
combines the ideas of cognitive therapy with meditative practices and attitudes based on the cultivation of mindfulness.
