Wellness Workshops utilize therapeutic art making as a tool within various settings (school, work, or community based) to promote stress-relief, unity, anxiety reduction, and mindfulness. Therapeutic art making can offer a resource and tool for individuals or communities who may not have access to clinical art therapy, nonetheless, would like to explore the potential benefits of the art making processes.Therapeutic art making motivates us to remain in the present moment by incorporating various art mediums that promote mindfulness. These kinesthetic qualities of art materials can inherently lend themself to helping us achieve greater levels of relaxation. 

It is important to stress that while the artmaking process can inherently feel therapeutic, it is not used in lieu of any professional mental health treatment. Individuals with mental health concerns or conditions should seek support from a licensed mental health provider.
